Texas High School Basketball - Goliad topped by Shiner
December 9, 2023: Goliad, TX 77963 The Shiner Comanches basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the host Goliad Tigers to 25 in the Comanches non-league victory on Saturday.
The Comanches now sport a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ganado for a 2A Region IV District 28 contest on Tuesday, December 12. Shiner will battle a Indians team coming off a 36-29 non-league loss to Three Rivers (Three Rivers, TX). The Indians record now stands at 8-8.
The Tigers (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Sinton (Sinton, TX). The Pirates come into the non-league contest with a 2-10 record.
