Texas High School Basketball - Holliday crushes Saint Jo
December 9, 2023: Holliday, TX 76366 Holliday Eagles (Holliday, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Saint Jo Panthers (Saint Jo, TX), 50-24 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Holliday upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Eagles travel to Vernon (Vernon, TX) to play the Lions in a 3A Region I District 7 bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 9-8. Vernon lost 54-15 in their recent non-league bout against Spearman (Spearman, TX)
Next up, the Panthers play the Bellevue Eagles (Bellevue, TX) in a 1A Region III District 22 bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Saint Jo will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 58-23 non-league loss to Gordon (Gordon, TX).
