Kerman Lions (Kerman, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting McLane Highlanders (Fresno, CA), 48-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Kerman upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Lions host Reedley (Reedley, CA) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Pirates come into the bout with a record of 7-6. Reedley lost 57-50 in their recent non-league bout against Hoover (Fresno, CA)

Next up, the Highlanders play the Minarets Mustangs (O'Neals, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. McLane will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 29-17 non-league win over Laton (Laton, CA).
