Washington High School Basketball - Monroe overwhelms Mariner
December 9, 2023: Monroe, WA 98272 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Monroe Bearcats (Monroe, WA) and the visiting Mariner Marauders (Everett, WA), saw Monroe's basketball squad wallop Mariner by a tally of 59-34.
With the victory, Monroe improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Snohomish (Snohomish, WA) to confront the Panthers in a 2A/3A Wesco challenge on Monday, December 11. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Snohomish lost 48-47 in their recent league challenge against Arlington (Arlington, WA)
Next up, the Marauders confront the Cedarcrest Red Wolves (Duvall, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 13. Mariner will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Red Wolves come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 32-31 league loss to Shorewood (Shoreline, WA).
