The San Saba Armadillos basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Menard Yellowjackets to 28 in the Armadillos non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Armadillos now sport a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Junction for a 2A Region IV District 29 contest on Friday, January 5.

The Yellowjackets (12-4) will now prepare for their contest against Bronte (Bronte, TX). The Longhorns enter the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Bronte triumphed over Rankin (Rankin, TX), 73-43, in a non-league contest.
