Texas High School Basketball - Moulton tops Weimar
December 9, 2023: Moulton, TX 77975 Moulton Bobkatz (Moulton, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Weimar Wildcats (Weimar, TX), 38-30 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Moulton upgrades its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Bobkatz host Pettus (Pettus, TX) to play the Eagles in a 1A Region IV District 30 bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 7-5. Pettus lost 51-41 in their recent non-league bout against Kenedy (Kenedy, TX)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Bloomington Bobcats/Lady Cats (Bloomington, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 28 bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Weimar will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Bobcats/Lady Cats come into the bout with a 10-5 record after their 45-11 non-league win over Coastal Christian HomeSchool (Corpus Christi, TX).
