West Virginia High School Basketball - Riverside falls to Preston

December 9, 2023: Kingwood, WV 26537

In Saturday's non-league match, the host Preston Knights basketball team scored a good 56-47 triumph over the Riverside Warriors.

In their next game, the Knights meet the Elkins Tigers (Elkins, WV) in a Big Ten match, on Tuesday, December 12. Preston will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 61-49 non-league win over Scott (Madison, WV).

With the defeat, Riverside moves to 0-1 on the year. The Warriors travel to Cabell Midland (Ona, WV) to meet the Knights in a Mountain State match on Wednesday, December 13. The Knights enter the match with a record of 2-0. Cabell Midland won 60-30 in their recent non-league match against Woodrow Wilson (Beckley, WV)
