December 9, 2023: Waynesboro, PA 17268 Waynesboro Indians (Waynesboro, PA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Red Lion Lions (Red Lion, PA), 54-51 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Waynesboro upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Indians travel to West Perry (Elliottsburg, PA) to play the Mustangs in a Mid-Penn - Colonial bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 3-0. West Perry won 48-37 in their recent non-league bout against Camp Hill (Camp Hill, PA)
Next up, the Lions play the Central York Panthers (York, PA) in a York-Adams 1 bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Red Lion will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 35-24 non-league loss to Central Dauphin (Harrisburg, PA).
