Virginia High School Basketball - Ridgeview crushes Rye Cove
December 9, 2023: Clintwood, VA 24228 Ridgeview Wolfpack (Clintwood, VA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Rye Cove Eagles (Clinchport, VA), 63-34 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Ridgeview upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Wolfpack travel to John Battle (Bristol, VA) to clash with the Trojans in a Mountain bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 2-2. John Battle lost 65-28 in their recent non-league bout against Tennessee (Bristol, TN)
Next up, the Eagles clash with the Patrick Henry Rebels (Glade Spring, VA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 11. Rye Cove will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 64-12 non-league loss to J.I. Burton (Norton, VA).
