In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Weed Cougars basketball team scored a good 53-42 triumph over the Fort Bragg Timberwolves.

In their next game, the Cougars meet the Modoc Braves (Alturas, CA) in a match, on Tuesday, January 16. Weed will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record.

With the defeat, Fort Bragg moves to 6-2 on the year. The Timberwolves host Middletown (Middletown, CA) to meet the Mustangs in a match on Tuesday, December 12. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 1-3. Middletown lost 62-57 in their recent non-league match against Tokay (Lodi, CA)
