Georgia High School Basketball - Toombs County nips Jeff Davis
December 9, 2023: Lyons, GA 30436 Toombs County Bulldogs (Lyons, GA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Jeff Davis Yellowjackets (Hazlehurst, GA), 37-30 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Toombs County upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Vidalia (Vidalia, GA) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Fitzgerald Purple Hurricane (Fitzgerald, GA) in a bout, on Friday, January 26. Jeff Davis will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
