California High School Basketball - Placer tops Mesa Verde
December 9, 2023: Citrus Heights, CA 95621 Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Mesa Verde Mavericks (Citrus Heights, CA), 60-40 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Placer upgrades its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Hillmen host Del Oro (Loomis, CA) to play the Golden Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Golden Eagles come into the bout with a record of 5-2. Del Oro won 63-44 in their recent non-league bout against Rocklin (Rocklin, CA)
Next up, the Mavericks play the Foresthill Wildfires (Foresthill, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Mesa Verde will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
