In Monday's non-league contest, the host Rockcastle County Rockets basketball team scored a close 68-62 triumph over the Berea Pirates.

The Rockets (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Knox Central (Barbourville, KY). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record.

In their next game, the Pirates confront the Lexington Christian Eagles (Lexington, KY) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 12. Berea will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record.
