Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Butler victorious over Bishop Canevin
December 9, 2024: Butler, PA 16001 In Monday's non-league contest, the host Butler Golden Tornado basketball team scored a good 80-67 triumph over the Bishop Canevin Crusaders.
The Golden Tornado (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against North Allegheny (Wexford, PA). The Tigers go into the WPIAL 6A 1 contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, North Allegheny topped Northgate (Pittsburgh, PA), 69-55, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Crusaders battle the Greensburg Central Catholic Centurions (Greensburg, PA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Bishop Canevin will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Centurions go into the contest with a 3-0 record after their 81-45 non-league win over Greensburg Salem (Greensburg, PA).
