Virginia High School Basketball - Hanover thwarts Caroline
December 9, 2024: Milford, VA 22514 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Hanover Hawks (Mechanicsville, VA) and the host Caroline Cavaliers (Milford, VA), observed Hanover's basketball team knock off Caroline by a score of 65-53.
The Hawks (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Chancellor (Fredericksburg, VA). The Chargers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Chancellor prevailed over Spotsylvania (Spotsylvania, VA), 68-34, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Cavaliers battle the Lancaster Red Devils (Lancaster, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. Caroline will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 65-36 non-league win over Rappahannock County (Washington, VA).
