December 9, 2024: Delhi, IA 52223 The Maquoketa Valley Wildcats (Delhi, IA) basketball crushed the visiting Clayton-Ridge Eagles (Guttenburg, IA), 63-34 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Starmont for a Tri-Rivers bout on Tuesday, December 10. Maquoketa Valley will play a Stars team coming off a 71-61 non-league loss to Central (Elkader, IA). The Stars record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Clayton-Ridge falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host South Winneshiek (Calmar, IA) to play the Warriors in a Upper Iowa bout on Friday, December 13. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 2-1.
