Illinois High School Basketball - Eureka fells St. Bede
December 9, 2024: Eureka, IL 61530 The Eureka Hornets basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting St. Bede Bruins to 46 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Monday.
The Hornets now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hall for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. Eureka will confront a Red Devils team coming off a 59-49 non-league win over St. Bede (Peru, IL). The Red Devils record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, St. Bede falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Bureau Valley (Manlius, IL) to confront the Storm in a non-league game on Thursday, December 12. The Storm go into the game with a record of 2-3. Bureau Valley lost 58-55 in their recent non-league game against Fieldcrest (Minonk, IL)
