December 9, 2024: Reading, PA 19604 Hazleton Area Cougars (Hazleton, PA) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Reading Red KNights (Reading, PA), 86-78 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Hazleton Area advances its record to 3-1 on the year. The Cougars travel to Methacton (Norristown, PA) to meet the Warriors in a non-league match on Saturday, December 14. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 1-2.
The Red KNights now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to J.P. McCaskey for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 10. Reading will meet a Red Tornado squad coming off a 77-56 non-league loss to Dallastown (Dallastown, PA). The Red Tornado record now stands at 0-2.
