Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Montrose bests Towanda
December 9, 2024: Montrose, PA 18801 The Montrose Meteors (Montrose, PA) basketball toppled the visiting Towanda Black Knights (Towanda, PA), 63-49 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Meteors now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Old Forge for a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 11. Montrose will play a Blue Devils team coming off a 62-49 non-league win over Elk Lake (Dimock, PA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Towanda falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Black knights travel to Sayre (Sayre, PA) to play the Redskins in a Northern Tier bout on Tuesday, December 10. The Redskins go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Sayre won 57-41 in their recent non-league bout against Blue Ridge (New Milford, PA)
