The Lakeland Chiefs basketball squad (Jermyn, PA), was nudged 40-36 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Blue Ridge Raiders (New Milford, PA)

With the victory, Blue Ridge advances its record to 1-1 on the year. The Raiders travel to Wyoming Seminary College Prep (Kingston, PA) to meet the Blue Knights in a non-league battle on Saturday, December 14. The Blue Knights enter the battle with a record of 1-1.

The Chiefs now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tunkhannock for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 12. Lakeland will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 61-22 non-league loss to Mid Valley (Throop, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 0-2.
