California High School Basketball - Sonoma Academy triumphant over College Prep
December 9, 2024: Oakland, CA 94618 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Sonoma Academy Coyotes (Santa Rosa, CA) and the host College Prep Cougars (Oakland, CA), observed Sonoma Academy's basketball team overwhelm College Prep by a score of 51-10.
The Coyotes (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Roseland Collegiate Prep (Santa Rosa, CA). The Grizzlies come into the North Central II challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Roseland Collegiate Prep was routed by Tomales (Tomales, CA), 40-16, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Cougars encounter the St. Joseph Notre Dame Pilots (Alameda, CA) in a Bay Valley challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. College Prep will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Pilots come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 55-31 non-league loss to KIPP King (San Lorenzo, CA).
