Ohio High School Basketball - Firelands can't hold off Lorain

Lorain Titans (Lorain, OH) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Firelands Falcons (Oberlin, OH), 62-61 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Lorain upgrades its record to 1-3 on the year. The Titans travel to Maple Heights (Maple Heights, OH) to face the Mustangs in a Lake Erie - Erie match on Wednesday, December 11. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 2-2.

The Falcons now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wellington for a Lorain County 8 match on Wednesday, December 11. Firelands will face a Dukes squad coming off a 50-35 league win over Columbia (Columbia Station, OH). The Dukes record now stands at 4-1.
