December 9, 2024: Sedalia, MO 65301 Hickman Kewpies (Columbia, MO) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Smith-Cotton Tigers (Sedalia, MO), 68-38 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Hickman advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Kewpies travel to Tipton (Tipton, MO) to face the Cardinals in a Central State 8 match on Thursday, December 12. The Cardinals enter the match with a record of 4-0. Tipton won 59-54 in their recent non-league match against Helias (Jefferson City, MO)
The Tigers now own a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bolivar for a non-league match on Wednesday, December 11. Smith-Cotton will face a Liberators squad coming off a 56-48 non-league win over Ash Grove (Ash Grove, MO). The Liberators record now stands at 3-0.
