Virginia High School Basketball - Caroline holds off Hanover
December 9, 2024: Milford, VA 22514 The Caroline Cavaliers basketball team scored 47 points and limited the visiting Hanover Hawks to 46 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Cavaliers now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Lancaster for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. Caroline will confront a Red Devils team coming off a 54-50 non-league win over Rappahannock County (Washington, VA). The Red Devils record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Hanover falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Chancellor (Fredericksburg, VA) to confront the Chargers in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. The Chargers go into the game with a record of 1-0. Chancellor won 54-40 in their recent non-league game against Spotsylvania (Spotsylvania, VA)
