Louisiana High School Basketball - South Plaquemines drops to Assumption
December 9, 2025: Buras, LA 70041 The Assumption Mustangs basketball team scored 48 points and limited the host South Plaquemines Hurricanes to 37 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Mustangs now possess a 5-0 record. They play next when they host Bourgeois for a non-league game on Thursday, December 11.
With the loss, South Plaquemines falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Eleanor McMain (New Orleans, LA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league game on Friday, December 12.
