December 9, 2025: Gig Harbor, WA 98335 Gig Harbor Tides (Gig Harbor, WA) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Capital Cougars (Olympia, WA), 59-41 in a league match.
With the victory, Gig Harbor advances its record to 3-1 on the year. The Tides travel to Lakes (Lakewood, WA) to face the Lancers in a 3A Puget Sound match on Thursday, December 11. The Lancers enter the match with a record of 2-1. Lakes lost 94-58 in their recent league match against Lincoln (Tacoma, WA)
In their next game, the Cougars battle the Central Kitsap Cougars (Silverdale, WA) in a 3A Puget Sound contest, on Thursday, December 11. Capital will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 57-48 league loss to Timberline (Lacey, WA).
