The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Clifton Cubs (Clifton, TX) and the visiting Italy Gladiators (Italy, TX), observed Clifton's basketball team knock off Italy by a score of 60-49.

The Cubs (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Comanche (Comanche, TX). The Indians come into the non-league challenge with a 0-10 record. In their last challenge, Comanche was knocked off by Llano (Llano, TX), 53-46, in a non-league challenge.

Next up, the Gladiators meet the Valley Mills Eagles (Valley Mills, TX) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, December 11. Italy will attempt to advance on its 2-5 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 3-5 record after their 69-32 non-league loss to Goldthwaite (Goldthwaite, TX).
