In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting South Newton Rebels basketball team scored a good 61-50 triumph over the Clinton Central Bulldogs.

The Rebels (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against West Central (Francesville, IN). The Trojans go into the Midwest outing with a 4-0 record. In their last outing, West Central ran past Glenn (Walkerton, IN), 68-29, in a non-league outing.

The Bulldogs (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Sheridan (Sheridan, IN). The Blackhawks go into the Hoosier Heartland game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Sheridan toppled Faith Christian (Lafayette, IN), 73-67, in a non-league game.
