In Tuesday's non-league test, the Deer Valley Wolverines (Antioch, CA) basketball squad trounced the host Mt. Diablo Red Devils (Concord, CA), by a final score of 96-59.

Next, the Wolverines clash with the San Leandro Pirates (San Leandro, CA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, December 10. Deer Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 74-25 non-league win over Tournament Opponent (, ).

With the loss, Mt. Diablo falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Red devils travel to Liberty (Brentwood, CA) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 11. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Liberty won 67-62 in their recent league bout against Freedom (Oakley, CA)
