Virginia High School Basketball - Liberty can't hold off Eastern View
December 9, 2025: Culpeper, VA 22701 Eastern View Cyclones (Culpeper, VA) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Liberty Eagles (Bealeton, VA), 66-63 in a non-league contest.
The Cyclones (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Kettle Run (Nokesville, VA). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Kettle Run was tipped by Warren County (Front Royal, VA), 67-54, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Louisa County Lions (Mineral, VA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, December 10. Liberty will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 49-47 non-league win over Patrick Henry (Ashland, VA).
