The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Fountain Valley Danes (Colorado Springs, CO) and the visiting Monument Academy Lynx (Monument, CO), witnessed Fountain Valley's basketball squad triumph over Monument Academy by a count of 61-27.

With the victory, Fountain Valley advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Danes travel to Peyton (Peyton, CO) to meet the Panthers in a 3A/2A Black Forest match on Thursday, January 8. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 3-0.

The Lynx now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Miami-Yoder for a non-league match on Wednesday, December 10. Monument Academy will meet a Buffaloes squad coming off a 57-37 non-league win over Deer Trail (Deer Trail, CO). The Buffaloes record now stands at 1-1.
