In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Lake Central Indians basketball team scored a nice 50-34 victory over the Gary West Side Cougars.

With the victory, Lake Central advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Indians host Culver Academies (Culver, IN) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Friday, December 12. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 3-1. Culver Academies won 69-66 in their recent non-league match against Jimtown (Elkhart, IN)
