Mississippi High School Basketball - Leflore County triumphant over Gentry

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Leflore County Tigers (Itta Bena, MS) and the host Gentry Rams (Indianola, MS), observed Leflore County's basketball team overwhelm Gentry by a score of 65-34.

The Tigers (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Amanda Elzy (Greenwood, MS). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-10 record. In their last challenge, Amanda Elzy was routed by Greenwood (Greenwood, MS), 66-39, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Rams encounter the Humphreys County Cowboys (Belzoni, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 12. Gentry will attempt to advance on its 4-7 season record. The Cowboys enter the battle with a 4-6 record after their 64-44 non-league win over Simmons (Hollandale, MS).
