Utah High School Basketball - Grand County knocks off Monticello

December 9, 2025: Moab, UT 84532

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Grand County Red Devils (Moab, UT) and the visiting Monticello Buckaroo (Monticello, UT), observed Grand County's basketball team overcome Monticello by a margin of 75-56.

The Red Devils (1-7) will now prepare for their match against South Sevier (Monroe, UT). The Rams enter the 2A Region 18 match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, South Sevier lost by Richfield (Richfield, UT), 67-55, in a non-league match.

The Buckaroo now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bryce Valley for a non-league match on Friday, December 12. Monticello will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 72-48 league win over Escalante (Escalante, UT). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-1.
