In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Guardian Angels Central Catholic Bluejays basketball team scored a big 68-37 win over the Newman Grove/St. Edward Panthers.

The Bluejays (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Wynot (Wynot, NE). The Blue Devils enter the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Wynot overwhelmed Winside (Winside, NE), 74-33, in a league match.

The Panthers now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Palmer for a non-league match on Friday, December 12. Newman Grove/St. Edward will face a Tigers squad coming off a 49-45 non-league loss to Giltner/Harvard (Giltner, NE). The Tigers record now stands at 0-3.
