The Morgan Township Cherokees basketball team scored 57 points and limited the host Highland Trojans to 56 in the Cherokees non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cherokees now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to DeMotte Christian for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 16.

The Trojans (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Whiting (Whiting, IN). The Oilers come into the non-league outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Whiting held off Chicago Washington (Chicago, IL), 55-50, in a non-league outing.
