California High School Basketball - Pacific Ridge thwarts Kearny

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Pacific Ridge Firebirds (Carlsbad, CA) and the visiting Kearny Komets (San Diego, CA), observed Pacific Ridge's basketball team knock off Kearny by a score of 64-55.

The Firebirds (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, CA). The Lancers come into the non-league challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Carlsbad prevailed over St. Augustine (San Diego, CA), 61-60, in a non-league challenge.

The Komets now own a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to High Tech Mesa for a non-league battle on Friday, December 12. Kearny will meet a Thunder squad coming off a 58-52 non-league loss to El Cajon Valley (El Cajon, CA). The Thunder record now stands at 0-5.
