The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Minden Whippets (Minden, NE) and the host Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, NE), observed Minden's basketball team knock off Lexington by a score of 60-42.

The Whippets (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Broken Bow (Broken Bow, NE). The Indians come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Broken Bow knocked off Holdrege (Holdrege, NE), 73-61, in a non-league battle.

The Minutemen now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host York for a B District 7 battle on Saturday, December 13. Lexington will meet a Dukes squad coming off a 45-41 non-league win over Waverly (Waverly, NE). The Dukes record now stands at 1-2.
