In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting MacArthur Generals basketball squad scored a decisive 62-32 victory over the Normal University Pioneers.

Next, the Generals face the Springfield Southeast Spartans (Springfield, IL) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, December 16. MacArthur will attempt to upgrade on its 5-0 season record.

The Pioneers (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Springfield (Springfield, IL). The Senators enter the Central State Eight outing with a 5-2 record. In their last outing, Springfield routed Jacksonville (Jacksonville, IL), 80-65, in a league outing.
