United Lions (Armagh, PA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA), 61-52 in a league match.

With the victory, United upgrades its record to 3-0 on the year. The Lions host Cambria Heights (Patton, PA) to face the Highlanders in a Heritage match on Thursday, December 11. The Highlanders enter the match with a record of 1-4. Cambria Heights won 49-25 in their recent league match against Purchase Line (Commodore, PA)

The Stingers now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Purchase Line for a Heritage match on Thursday, December 11. Marion Center will face a Red Dragons squad coming off a 49-25 league loss to Cambria Heights (Patton, PA). The Red Dragons record now stands at 0-2.
