North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting West Cabarrus Wolverines (Concord, NC), 94-68 in a non-league contest.

The Vikings (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against James F. Byrnes (Duncan, SC). The Rebels go into the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, James F. Byrnes smashed Greer (Greer, SC), 82-55, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Wolverines battle the Berry Cardinals (Charlotte, NC) in a Greater Metro (GMAC) 6A/7A contest, on Friday, December 12. West Cabarrus will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Cardinals go into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 58-52 non-league win over Rocky River (Mint Hill, NC).
