California High School Basketball - Wheatland can't hold off Pierce

Pierce Bears (Arbuckle, CA) backers went home thrilled Tuesday as they saw their basketball team tip the host Wheatland Pirates (Wheatland, CA), 64-58 in a non-league contest.

The Bears (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Hamilton (Hamilton City, CA). The Braves go into the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Hamilton was tipped by Trinity (Weaverville, CA), 68-41, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Pirates confront the Golden Sierra Grizzlies (Garden Valley, CA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, December 10. Wheatland will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Grizzlies go into the contest with a 3-6 record after their 41-36 non-league win over Sierra Lutheran (Carson City, NV).
