The San Tan Foothills Sabercats (Queen Creek, AZ) basketball edged the host Tanque Verde Hawks (Tucson, AZ), 68-65 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Sabercats now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Apache Junction for a non-league challenge on Monday, December 15.

In their next game, the Hawks encounter the Rio Rico Hawks (Rio Rico, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 11. Tanque Verde will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 91-63 non-league loss to Ironwood Ridge (Tucson, AZ).
