Texas High School Basketball - West holds off Scurry-Rosser

December 9, 2025: Scurry, TX 75158

The West Trojans basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host Scurry-Rosser Wildcats to 47 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Trojans now have a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Marlin for a non-league game on Thursday, December 11. West will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 77-60 non-league loss to Hearne (Hearne, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-6.

The Wildcats (3-5) will now prepare for their outing against Honey Grove (Honey Grove, TX). The Warriors enter the non-league outing with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, Honey Grove got by Rivercrest (Bogata, TX), 53-48, in a non-league outing.
