In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Alcovy Tigers basketball team scored a big 52-22 triumph over the Redan Raiders.

The Tigers (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against Eastside (Covington, GA). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Eastside was trounced by Chapel Hill (Douglasville, GA), 49-32, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Raiders face the Lithonia Bulldogs (Lithonia, GA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, December 13. Redan will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Bulldogs enter the outing with a 5-4 record after their 62-31 league loss to St. Pius X Catholic (Atlanta, GA).
