The South Cougars basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting Arkansas City Bulldogs to 16 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now have a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Salina Central for a non-league game on Friday, December 12. South will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 65-44 non-league loss to Manhattan (Manhattan, KS). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Arkansas City falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Chanute (Chanute, KS) to clash with the Blue Comets in a non-league outing on Friday, December 12.
