The Spartans now possess a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Palm Harbor University for a non-league bout on Friday, December 12. Lakewood will play a Hurricanes team coming off a 58-48 non-league loss to Clearwater (Clearwater, FL). The Hurricanes record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, Boca Ciega falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Clearwater (Clearwater, FL) to encounter the Tornadoes in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 11.
