Indiana High School Basketball - Floyd Central overwhelms Columbus East
December 9, 2025: Columbus, IN 47201 The Floyd Central Highlanders basketball team scored 66 points and limited the host Columbus East Olympians to 29 in the Highlanders league triumph on Tuesday.
The Highlanders now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Silver Creek for a non-league game on Thursday, December 11. Floyd Central will clash with a Dragons squad coming off a 60-53 non-league loss to Castle (Newburgh, IN). The Dragons record now stands at 5-2.
The Olympians (3-6) will now prepare for their outing against Jeffersonville (Jeffersonville, IN). The Red Devils come into the Hoosier Hills outing with a 3-6 record. In their last outing, Jeffersonville was overwhelmed by Bedford North Lawrence (Bedford, IN), 55-46, in a league outing.
