Texas High School Basketball - Dublin bests Walnut Springs
December 9, 2025: Dublin, TX 76446 The Dublin Lions basketball squad scored 47 points and restricted the visiting Walnut Springs Hornets to 28 in the Lions non-league win on Tuesday.
The Lions now possess a 7-7 record. They play next when they host Tolar for a 3A Region I District 8 bout on Friday, December 12. Dublin will play a Rattlers team coming off a 42-37 non-league win over Godley (Godley, TX). The Rattlers record now stands at 8-6.
With the loss, Walnut Springs falls to 8-3 on the season. The Hornets travel to Abbott (Abbott, TX) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league test on Thursday, December 11. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 6-2. Abbott won 56-39 in their recent league test against Oglesby (Oglesby, TX)
