December 9, 2025: Ellwood City, PA 16117 The Ellwood City Wolverine were victorious over the visiting Freedom Area Bulldogs basketball team by a tally of 46-28 in Tuesday's non-league game.
The Wolverine now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they host South Side for a non-league game on Wednesday, December 10. Ellwood City will confront a Rams team coming off a 40-28 non-league loss to Ambridge (Ambridge, PA). The Rams record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Freedom Area falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Hickory (Hermitage, PA) to confront the Hornets in a non-league game on Monday, December 15. The Hornets go into the game with a record of 0-4. Hickory lost 45-39 in their recent non-league outing against Meadville (Meadville, PA)
